2012 UPDATE

The GDC is the Goat component of the Small Animal Developmental Committee of the Kent County Extension Office 4-H Youth program.

The GDC will retain its own treasury & officers that will meet annually to accomplish 3 things for the 4-H goat familes of Kent County.

For 2012, the GDC will plan youth development activites with 3 events in mind:

1) Reviewing Kent County Youth Fair goat activites and educational needs for the upcoming year

2) Planning the annual Lowell Youth & 4-H Goat show

3) Planning an educational workshop/event as needed.

The purpose of GDC:
1. Goats are more than just Fair.
2. Promotion of goats and goat activities.
3. Provide opportunities for youth development.
4. Educate.
5. To get information out to goat people.
